29. Manure Feedlot

Location

The location of manure feedlots is defined in non_structure_bmp section with two settings:

• manure_feedlot_boundary_shapefile - The feedlot boundary shapefile.
• manure_feedlot_outlet_shapefile - The feedlot outlet shapefile.

One example is given below.

manure_feedlot_boundary_shapefile = cattle_yard_projected.shp

manure_feedlot_outlet_shapefile = cattle_yard_outlet.shp

Attributes

• feedlot

  • id - The feedlot id
  • cb - The catch basin id which must exist in the catch basin shapefile
  • ani_id - The animal id in the livestock parameter table
  • adult - Number of the adult animals
  • nonadult - Number of non-adult animals
  • stoid - The manure storage ids separated with comma
  • storatio - The ratio to each manure storage specified in stodi separated with comma. The total ratio should be 1.

• Feedlot outlet

  • id - The outlet id should be the same as the corresponding feedlot
